The music and dance epic is a special flower in our country with the historical environment,it has special historical and cultural significance in the art history of China.In content,it reflects the course of struggle of the Chinese nation and the revolutionary history of the communist party of China,which is a "red" properties;In form,it will be music,dance,poetry,stage art,etc,but,just as its name implies is dancing in the "epic" what regarded as one of the most important means of artistic expression.Since the founding of the nation,only three works named as "big music dance epic",which respectively are premiered in 1964,"the east is red","song of the Chinese revolution" in 1984 and 2009,the "renewal".Those three "epic" as a different era of National Day gift works,whose creation and the rehearsal process are collected at the time from the central,literary elite troops to the place,and get directly involved in the guidance of the CPC central committee leadership and the important instructions,after the show in the society of ordinary people to produce a wide range of influence,make posterity stage art films,the three films is of landmark significance.This Paper is divided into four parts.The first part,start from the profile of three music and dance epic,the characteristics of the work and to conduct a comprehensive combing the plait process,etc.The second part,start from the dance ontology as the breakthrough point,the three big music and dance epic in the dance art characteristic,analyzing its language elements such as time and space.The third part compare dance part of the three dances and music epic,combined with different time background to explore the differences of artworks in macroscopic perspective,and combined with different plot development to study the change of the dance scene in micro perspective.The fourth part,on the basis of summarizing the front three parts,the "music and dance epic"the genre,summarize it in under the premise of social development,left a valuable wealth for later generations.Both from national belief function and artistic function,education function has a profound historical significance and social value.In order to get deeper understanding through the comparative study on"east is red","the song of the Chinese revolution" the road to revival"in music and dance epic genre,then summarizes the development and change of different era mainstream literary thought in our country,and to investigate the relationship between the mainstream of Chinese contemporary literature and politics,this is the purpose of this study.
