The Shijingshan Moshikou eunuch cemetery is a rare cemetery of Ming Dynasty with well-preserved building on the ground.The rich inscriptions and stone carvings provide a lot of important material of text and image for studying the art and social phenomenon of the eunuch authoritarian of Ming Dynasty.On the basis of field investigation,this paper makes an in-depth study on the stone carvings and images of the eunuch cemetery.First of all,make an overview of the eunuch cemetery's historical background in the Ming Dynasty,and introduce the layout of the eunuch cemetery.And analyze the identity and relationship of the occupant of tombs with the relevant literature and inscriptions.Secondly,select the cemetery stone carvings to do key research,that is,the ornamental columns,the stone human statue,the inscriptions,the stone five offerings,the slates around the tomb.On this basis,Classify these stone carving images,and explore the deep connotation of stone carving images,combined with political,economic,cultural and other social background of Ming Dynasty.Finally,discusses the violation in system of eunuch cemetery,according to the cemetery regulation of literature.Compare with the images of other forms artwork in the same period,such as painting,novels,dramas and so on.And then summed up the two characteristics of eunuchs cemetery,that is,the violation in system of eunuch cemetery and The Secularization of stone carving image.
