High runs of society requires the stronger of adaptive capacity and the faster speed of problem-solving ability of people.Under circumstance of this high-strength,procrastination becomes more and more commonplace.The negatively consequence is unfinished work,lower work efficiency,workingenviroment of depressive and the company of demoralization,The problem of procrastination demand prompt solution.There are many reasons for procrastination,such as perfectionism,task a setback,self-esteem level,difficulty selsction and so on.The more difficulty for individual to complete the task,the more procrastination will appear.Therefore,from the perspective of difficulty selection,put questionnaire method and experimentation combining to research procrastination in this study.In order to survey the relationship of procrastination and difficulty selection,the questionnaire method was adopted that a total of 325 questionnaires were released in internal students of Henan University,Then,adopted to screen out high procrastinators(n=16)and low procrastinators(n=17)to participate in experimental duties.The results showed that:(1)Experimentation was universal in undergraduates and it was closely related to delay discounting rate.The delay discounting rates in high procrastinators were significantly higher than low procrastinators;(2)There was a significant positive correlation between procrastination and difficulty selection,The more simple difficltyselection,the shorter reaction time of examinee.The reaction times of low procrastinators was higher than high procrastinators under difficult task scenario,as it was lower than high procrastinators at the probability of selecting an immediate choice;(3)The probability of selecting an immediate choice with a delay time of a week was larger than a delay time of 4 days under acquisition scenarios.
