Female Images Shape In Su Tong's Novels

Su Tong,was born in 1963 in Suzhou,rose to fame in the pioneer novels in the late 80's trend,but not limited in a genre,by the subject's development,the innovation of the narrative creation,the new historical novels,the new realistic novels,demonstrated the possibility of literary imagination.He created some new historicism novels —— "red" series with neutral stance from the woman's spirit connotation,shaped the vivid images of women,in the pursuit of individual survival by personal standard,beyond the male writers to write the pattern of female image.He paid attention to the living conditions of women and explored the fate of women.As a male writer,he narrated the female psychological depth,so he was called for the “pretty killer”.They are the lotus and the wives of feudal compound,the prostitutes escaping the transformation and wandering around in the new society,three generations of women in the community life and secular in sharp provocative,bickering women.In his female image of the novel,Su Tong describes the relationship of women and men,women,children to show the female life state.He describes female survival desire and survival way to show the living circumstances,to explore the female cultural connotation under the specific history and culture influence,thus revealing the spiritual connotation of female.And his deep portray of the female psychological consciousness reflect in imagery narrative,which makes his female image in a poetic embodiment,forming decadent,aesthetic style of writing.In this paper,it includes five chapters.The first chapter starts from the female images created by the history of literature of male and female writers,which leading to the female image narration posture of Su Tong in contrast.The second chapter mainly include several typical short novels "the harem","red","the female life","another kind of female life" to concrete analysis the classic female images.The third chapter analysis the female spirit connotation,include female living circumstances and cultural connotation.Female life state reflect the relationship between women and men,women,children respectively to demonstrate its female psychology.Living circumstances reflect from the female survival desire and survival way.Female culture connotation mainly from the female image containing social factors to embody its particularity.The fourthchapter analysis the female image shaping the success of Su Tong is the female psychological description,the imagery narration to the female psyche,the author use life image,the color image,season and so on to better describe the female mental consciousness,foil atmosphere,promote the development of the plot.
