As the distribution center of Sichuan-Tibet trade,Tachienlu plays an important role in the commercial trade,and the emergence and development of merchants have a profound impact on the region as well as the country.On the basis of predecessors' research,this paper mainly combs the background of the formation of Tachienlu merchant communities in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the trade forms among different communities of merchants,and analyzes and summarizes the characteristics and influence of merchant communities.Chapter 1 introduces the background of the formation of the merchant communities in Tachienlu.The unique geographical and cultural environment,as well as the expansion of the commercial roads between Ming and Qing dynasties,combined with the development of the Ming and Qing government forces,constituted the unique local advantages,then trade hub transfered from Yaan to Tachienlu.The flourishing of tea trade,and the implementation of the government's policy which uses the tea to manage the frontier,promoted the development of business in the area.The flourishing of tea-horse trade and the launch of the pot-to-mouth trade have led merchants to come here,providing a good environment for the formation of merchant communities.Chapter 2 analyzes the merchant communities in Tachienlu among Ming and Qing dynasties.First of all,according to the different types,the business communities can be divided into the meichants from other provinces which mainly consists of Shaanxi merchants,the merchants of Sichuan province,regional special business communities,as well as the foreign merchants who invaded into the area because of the late Qing imperialist forces,and a brief description of the above communities.Secondly,according to the different ways of trade of merchant communities respectively introduces the trade between Han and Tibetan traders.Finally,the study of Shaanxi merchants as a case,through the Shaanxi Hall and the firm's research,to find the form of merchants communities in the area among Ming and Qing Dynasties.Chapter 3 evaluates the merchant communities in Tachienlu among Ming andQing dynasties.Through the introduction of the first and the second chapters,this chapter focuses on the social status of the merchant communities in Tachienlu,and analyzes the characteristics and limitations of the merchant communities.which mainly reflected in three aspects: the impact of commercial trade and national economy,promoting the development of the financial industry and pushing forward the economic development between provinces.The conclusion mainly introduces the development of Tachienlu merchant communities in the period of the Republic of China briefly.
