Survey Research On The Needs Of Foreign And Chinese Students On Language Partners

With the growth of the number of students and increasing of the frequency of learning Chinese in China,we will take Shanghai International Studies University as an example,it also becomes increasingly prominent that the students in the learning process of life encounter the problems.At present,the study of Chinese students at school is limited to the class teaching,social circle after school is extremely limited,and frequency of communication with Chinese students is not high;through teaching practice,we can find out students generally reflect that they are looking for Chinese students as partners to learn the language,but with the lack of platform and the corresponding ways can not meet the needs of further improving the level of Chinese.Based on this,with the needs analysis model as the framework and the interactive model theory of language partners learning as the foundation,the paper will separately design the questionnaire for foreign and Chinese students,the questionnaire survey includes the current situation of the interactive process of language partners and its existing problems and their expectations of the language partners learning as well.By the analysis of SPSS,the paper will describe and analyze the present situation of language partners learning and also the objectives and requirements of the foreign and Chinese students,based on the study,the paper aims to put forward some feasible suggestions,for example,the university could establish the effective interactive platform for language partners and provide the consulting services to the foreign students before they come to China and during their stay here as well,so as to meet the needs on language partners learning of students and also to solve the problems,such as “it's hard to find language partners””I don't have enough chances to communicate with foreign(or Chinese)students””I'm not satisfied with the current situation” and other practical issues.
