Research On Conditions Of Tanzania Students Studying Chinese In China

In recent years,China and Africa cooperation has developed rapidly,Tanzania being one of the African country has an important influence in political,economical and cultural in the region.The country has a deep cooperation with China in many forms especially education,economy,and cultural.So that currently there increasing number of Tanzanian students who come to China to seek quality education.This survey involves Tanzania students studying in China,mainly importantly includes both students who study Chinese as a major subject and non-studying Chinese students(other major),survey analyze the conditions of studying Chinese based on aspect of language skills and language elements,focusing on both internal factors and external factors influencing studying Chinese.The survey discovered that,although both students studying Chinese as major subject and non-studying Chinese student(other major)have a good situation of learning Chinese,still has existence of some problems on studying Chinese as major subject.The students ability on reading and writing skills is standard and amount of vocabulary is not enough,for non-studying Chinese students(others major)their ability on listening,speaking,reading,and writing skills is difficult to achieve communication with Chinese proficiency level,also still has certain obstacle of learning Chinese character.Considering the above problems we think that studying Chinese as a major subject students should balance and develop their language skills as well as improve their ability on reading and writing,and for non-studying Chinese students(others major)should pay more attention to improve their Chinese for their normal communication.
