Prosocial behavior is a kind of social behavior that can benefit others and even the whole society.Prosocial behavior can not only help others,but also can help people who provide help get their own emotional satisfaction and social reputation.Individuals with prosocial tendencies are more likely to be accepted by social groups,so that the individual's sense of belonging and security are met.Individuals are in contact with others,no one is willing to live lonely.However,the phenomenon of peers' social exclusion often occurs in the campus and society,social exclusion damage the individual's sense of belonging and security,seriously affect the individual's physical and mental health.At present,most of prosocial behavior research focus more on the influence of cognition and personality on prosocial behavior.Most of researchers prefer to research adults.This study examines the impact of social exclusion on the prosocial behavior of children through two sub-studies,and explores the role of emotions in the relationship between social exclusion and children's prosocial behavior.The first study mainly examines the impact of social exclusion on children's prosocial behavior and the main styles of children's pr-social behavior.Experiment 1 uses a memorial paradigm to allow children to image different situation that divide subjects into two groups,and then show children a group of ragged peers photos,according to the number of children willing to donate the amount of money to measure the individual's prosocial behavior.Study 1 indicates that sex differences in prosocial behavior is significant.Social exclusion will reduce children's prosocial behavior.Helping others is the most common form of Children's prosocial behavior.The second study mainly examines the impact of social exclusion on children's prosocial behavior and the role of emotions in the relationship between social exclusion and children's prosocial behavior.Study 2 adopts the rejection paradigm of social exclusion,and the children are divided into social exclusion group and social acceptance group through the different responses of the group members.Children need to complete the self-report of emotional state and prosocial behavior evaluation.Study 2 shows that social exclusion tend to result in children's negative feelings.Social exclusion will reduce children's prosocial behavior.Emotion is able to exert effective functions in moderating the relationship between social exclusion and children's prosocial behavior.In conclusion,(1)Helping others is the most common form of Children's prosocial behavior.(2)Sex differences in prosocial behavior is significant,girls perform more prosocial behzviors.(3)Social exclusion tend to result in children's negative feelings,social accptance tend to result in children's positive feelings.(4)Social exclusion affects children 's prosocial behavior.(6)Emotion is able to exert effective functions in moderating the relationship between social exclusion and children's prosocial behavior.
