A Research On The Changes Of Traditional Embroidery In Shanxi Since The Founding Of New China

Since the founding of new China,especially after entering the social transition period,China's traditional handicraft heritage and development of social and cultural context has undergone major changes to explore the traditional crafts of this period of change process and characteristics of the traditional handicrafts in the contemporary situation,As well as do the traditional handicraft heritage and protection work,has important significance.Based on the oral data of Shanxi traditional embroidery inheritors,this paper discusses the process of traditional embroidery in Shanxi since the founding of new China.It is believed that the traditional embroidery in Shanxi has experienced two different stages of development from "life practice" to "cultural practice" During this period,Shanxi traditional embroidery inheritance,the inheritance of the mentality and cultural identity have undergone major changes.From the 1950 s to the present,the development of traditional handicrafts has undergone two different context changes,from natural heritage to non-genetic inheritance,inheritance,inheritance,cultural identity and other aspects have changed.Since the establishment of new China,in the "life practice" heritage context,inheritance for the family heritage,through repeated observation of the production process to be subtle learning,manufactured goods for the family for personal use or for mutual assistance,rarely sold.This period of handicraft inheritance is occurring in the natural context,social environment,family influence,aesthetic psychology are important factors affecting the inheritance.From the reform and opening up80 years later,the traditional handicrafts into another stage,artists in the "cultural practice" in the heritage study.Cultural practice in the handicraft has a unique overall characteristics,from the majority of people into a small number of professional skills,from the daily necessities into goods,works of art,cultural products.The traditional handicrafts also realized the commercialization reconstruction,the artistic reconstruction and the reconstruction of the inheritance to varying degrees.These concrete contextual changes are presented to help us understand the process of changing traditional crafts,and some thinking about the traditional handicraft protection under social change.At the same time,combined with the specific fieldinvestigation and oral history data,put forward these two kinds of heritage context,hoping for other regions of the traditional handicraft research has some reference.
