The Study Of Fu Shan's Drama Creation

Fu Shan is a scholar-bureaucrat in the turning point between the Ming and Qing Dynasties and a brilliant man of wide learning.He is skillful at poetry,literature,Buddhism,medicine throughout his life and is known as “the great master of SanJin”.Most of his own works was recorded Shuang Hong Kan Sets,and then people organized it as The Fu Shan Quan Shu,which covers his lifelong academic works,includes literature,art,medicine and other various achievements,such as those drama works Hong Luo Mirror,Qi Ren Begging and Sin Keiju.Because of the special ages and his allegorical works,his creations were not popular at that time.In the meantime,few people know his drama works,so the research of scholars also is a scanty few.In fact,the political conditions in the early Qing dynasty provide the necessary soil for his drama writing.He understands the social nature and expresses his true feelings and the advanced ideological values by his drama creations,which is very progressive and realistic.Therefore,the thesis makes a tentative analysis of his three opera texts.According to presenting his lifetime and many factors affecting his creation,the thesis explores the theme and characteristic of his drama works.Besides,it combines a lot of his poems and notes with the previous research findings in order to explore the original intention of his drama creations from deeper levels.This thesis is divided into four chapters.Chapter one makes a brief introduction of the purpose and significance of the research,the related research and the research method.Chapter two relates his life with his creations in order to analyze the influence of personal growth environment for his creations.Then it analyzes the social background and other academic aspects of his drama creations,which reflects his various cultural knowledge andexcellent capability.Then it respectively researches the three works and makes people have a better understanding for them.The last two chapters analyze the themes and art of the whole opera works and put forward some deep problems,which reveals the darkness of the society and reflects a progressive artist's desire and helplessness for social reform.According to his overall creations,people can know more about the ideology of his creative personality and his anti-feudalism ideas and innovation of world view is valuable at that time.At the same time,people can feel the charm of his works by their language,spoken parts,characters and structure.
