Visual disease such as nearsightedness has an effect to human beings' normal study,working and living to a certain degree.Especially for school-age patients,visual function defects has affected their development of intelligence.It's a remarkable problem to improve intelligence and vision in improving learning efficiency.And,studies show that,visual perceptual learning improves visual function,working memory training improves fluid intelligence.But at present,the researchers get their scientific gains by doing the study separately,and they only achieve one training effect,there is no combinative training with visual perceptual learning and working memory.To design such a combinative training,can improve the visual function and fluid intelligence simultaneously,it can guide the improvement of visual function defects in clinical and intelligence,especially brings a basis of experiments for improving visual function and intelligence of school children with visual function defects slowly.This article bases on the researches of visual perceptual learning with Gabor signal improving visual function,N-back working memory training improving fluid intelligence,designs two N-back working memory trainings with Gabor signal.These tasks choose the Gabor signal which is effectively used in visual perceptual learning,and the hearing task,to make the dual task model in N-back working memory training,then training the subjects with normal eyesight and intelligence.The difference between the two training is whether the spatial frequency and contrast sensitivity of Gabor signal changes or not.It takes the subjects' contrast sensitivity and fluid intelligence into consideration,which are recorded and measured by OPTEC6500(?)and Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices separately.We choose 18 subjects with myopia but corrected vision and normal intelligence,and make two groups randomly in the experiments.The experiments prove that,subjects' contrast sensitivity and fluid intelligence have a significant improvement after the training,in the condition of changing the spatial frequency and contrast sensitivity of Gabor signal.To explain the results more clearly,we add a experiment of visual perceptual learning,there is 10 subjects with myopia but corrected vision and normal intelligence in it.It concludes that,visual perceptual learning can not improve the intelligence.What's more,we take 9 subjects with myopia but corrected vision and normal intelligence in the controlling group,to make a comparison to the results.The main contents of this article are as follows:1 This article has summarized the research status of visual perceptual learning to improve visual function and working memory to improve fluid intelligence at home and abroad,and then raised the research content,plan and implementation of this issue.2 We take Gabor signal into N-back working memory training to be the visual target,design two training methods based on the different parameters of Gabor signal,and recruit volunteers to train.The data of experiments show that,in condition of changing spatial frequency and contrast sensitivity of Gabor signal,subjects through training can significantly improve their contrast sensitivity and fluid intelligence by training at their own spatial frequency,these bring a more varied training effects than traditional methods.3 The visual perceptual learning conclude that,the experiment of visual perceptual learning with Gabor signal can improve subjects' contrast sensitivity,but it's not effective for fluid intelligence.All above work can conclude that:the training method of N-back working memory based on Gabor signal with adjustable spatial frequency and contrast sensitivity can effectively improve subjects' contrast sensitivity and fluid intelligence;and what's more the visual perceptual learning with Gabor signal has no effect on adults' fluid intelligence.
