Narrative Study On Phenomenal Suspense Drama

In recent years,as a type of TV drama,suspense drama attracts more and more audience with its unique narrative skills.There’re many famous suspense dramas,such as Chinese costume suspense drama "Detective Di Renjie" series and "Juvenile Justice Bao" series,British mini suspense drama " Sherlock Holmes" series,Hong Kong TVB suspense drama "Forensic Heroes" series and "Detective Investigation Files" series,Japanese suspense drama "Detective Galileo" and "Detective Conan",Korean suspense drama "Vampire Prosecutor","Ghost" and"Special Case Task Force TEN",American suspense drama "Lost","Criminal Mind","CSI:Las Vegas.and so on.All of them attracted a large number of loyal fans,got high ratings with their suspicious suspense narrative skills,as "phenomenal" suspense drama.Korean suspense drama "Signal",as the tvN tenth anniversary special drama,which produced by tvN in January 2016,won the 52nd session of the Korean art festivals TV drama department the best TV drama award and the best script award.Through the only domestic channel Tencent video,play volume(as of now)of "Signal" has more than 300 million,and its score in Douban has reached 9.1 points.As a "phenomenal" suspense drama,"Signal" mainly tells a story about Patrol Piao Haiying in current time connect with Detective Li Caihan in past time through an interphone to solve some long-term unsolved cases.As a study of "Signal",this paper explores the selection of suspense drama narrative theme,the design of narrative plot,the arrangement of narrative structure and the analysis of narrative characters,also tries to explore the reference significance of "phenomenological" suspense drama to the domestic suspense drama.
