The Study Of An Erxian Performance Art In Fujian Nan Yin And Jinge Ensembles

"Erxian" is an accompaniment musical instrument in Chinese traditional music.It has become a " living fossi " string instrument having evolved from the ancient instrument named Xiqin.It belongs to ensembles in the south of Fujian province and has remained there for nearly one thousand years.Past researchers had usually paid attention to its shape,materials and historical relevance and seldom focus on its accompaniment function of musical performance.According to fieldwork during these past two years,the Erxian of Nanyin ensemble with the Erxian of jinge ensemble have been researched in detail,I analysised mainly by it's bow-running,decorations and cooperate with other instruments.Later,approaching to the conclution about two groups of musical instruments Erxian 's vocabulary,and then extend to aesthetic charm of musical culture,even more it have mirrored the essence of the local social logic.
