| As a legally effective instrument,the language of economic contract must be accurate and normative,but in real life,disputes caused by ambiguity which due to the improper language expression are common.So it has a strong reality significance to research the language ambiguity of economic contracts.The thesis takes linguistics and statistics as the main theoretical basis and there are seven parts in total.The first chapter summarizes the basic situation of language ambiguity of various economic scholars,and shows the purpose and practical significance of studying the language ambiguity of economic contracts,then introduces the source of corpus.The second chapter introduces the basic definition of economic contracts,two different forms and basic characteristics of economic contracts.Then discusses the related concepts of language ambiguity,and the categories of language ambiguity.The third chapter analyzes the phenomenon of language ambiguity at the lexical aspect from three aspects: polyphonic words,polysemy words,wrongly written words.The fourth chapter analyzes the phenomenon of language ambiguity caused by syntactic factors,including the missing elements,the unclear relationship of substitute one expression with another,the unclear relationship of modifying words and the wrong use of conjunctions.Chapter 5 analyzes the language ambiguity caused by pragmatic factors,including punctuation,translation and understanding(context).Chapter 6 discusses how to avoid the economic contract disputes caused by language ambiguity from the aspects of vocabulary,pragmatics and contract writing.Chapter 7 summarizes the content and opinions of the article.Through the study,we believe that although many language factors can cause the language ambiguity of economic contract,and further lead to the contract dispute,but in the contract writing process as long as the correct use of vocabulary,pay attention to the grammatical relationship between the sentence composition,attention to the context of the contract language understanding Role,the language of ambiguity in the contract can be reduced and avoided. |
