Research On The Art Characteristics Of China's Industrial Engraving

The term "industrial engraving" is derived from "industrial theme printing", which refers to engraving art creation of special performance life, big industry construction and industrial production in the industrialization process, presenting many factors and phenomenon as the main content. This concept is generated by the artistic subject due to the impact of human factors. It has become one of the important types in Chinese modern and contemporary engraving. After the founding of new China, under the party's policy of literature and art,industry as the artistic creation form of theme, it recorded and witnessed the developing industry in China with its new pose, new content, rich style; Through the industrialization construction, it realizes future vision of comprehensive modernisation. Although the work has strong political propaganda color, it still reveal new breath different as before,The works shows ideology and styles in different periods, which has become live specimens during creating the modern and contemporary engraving art creation. After 80 s, the the creation of industrial engraving is not "normal", which gets rid of the narrative expression patterns from as the past and more pays attention to engraving image itself, and more emphasis on the creation subject's individual consciousness and subjective feeling, to make the work more independent and have culture connotation.Based on before and after the reform and opening to the outside world (that before and after the 80 s), the industrial engraving in different periods shows the characteristics of different art as the main content, deeply and rationally analyzing and researching the development evolution of the industrial engraving making, and exploring the realistic significance of industrial engraving for decades after creating and practice. This article is mainly from four parts to analyze and combing layer upon layer the characteristic of China's industrial engraving art research. The first part, generally narrates different time background of China's industrial engraving , and historical excavates the emergence of industrial theme engraving and sources of the concept of "industrial engraving"; The second part is the core content of this article, regarding as the turning point of the development of industrial engraving in 1980. Before the reform and opening up and after the reform and open policy,it narrates the specific changes of work characteristics , and summarize the internal and external factors of forming this art characteristic changes; The third part, is through the analysis and conclusion of practical significance to the creation material, technique, culture connotation of industrial engraving; Finally, combined with my own creative practice, it focuses on industrial engraving art characteristics in different times, from creative vision, age atmosphere, compositions, connotation,etc, for the impact on myself.
