The Influence Of Different Spaced Retrieval Practice,Cue Strength And Testing Interval On The Retrieval Practice Effect

The current study had 120 subjects adopting experimental method.The experiment was designed to explore the influence of different spaced retrieval practice,cue strength and testing interval on the retrieval practice effect.The current study includes 2 parts.In the first part,the influence of different spaced retrieval practice and cue strength on the retrieval practice effect were researched,and selected the best spaced retrieval practice(contracting retrieval practice);In the second part,the influence of different cue strength and testing interval on the retrieval practice effect under the condition of contracting retrieval practice were researched.Based on the experiment,the research received the following 6 conclusions.(1)The correct rate of recall of the contracting retrieval practice is significantly higher than that of the expanding and equal-interval retrieval practice.(2)Under the condition of strong cue pairs,the correct rate of recall of the contracting retrieval practice is significantly higher than that of expanding retrieval practice.Under the condition of weak cue pairs,the correct rate of recall of the contracting retrieval practice is significantly higher than that of expanding and equal-interval retrieval practice.(3)Under the three kinds of spaced retrieval practice conditions,the correct rate of recall of strong cue pairs was significantly higher than that of the weak cue pairs.(4)The correct rate of recall of 5-minute and 15-minute testing intervals were significantly higher than that of the 25-minute testing interval.(5)Under the condition of strong cue pairs,the correct rate of recall of the 5-minute and 15-minute testing intervals was significantly higher than that of the 25-minute testing interval.Under the condition of weak cue pairs,the correct rate of recall of the 15-minute testing interval was significantly higher than that of the the 25-minute testing interval.(6)Under the condition of 5-minute and 15-minute testing intervals,the correct rate of recall of strong cue pairs is significantly higher than that of weak cue pairs.Under the condition of 25-minute testing interval,there were no significant differences between the correct rate of recall of strong and weak cue pairs.
