Aesthetic Psychology:An Empirical Study On The Influence Of Painting Experience On Aesthetic On Aesthetic Experience

Aesthetic psychology is a cross subject that formed by the combination of aesthetics and psychology.The research object of Aesthetic psychology is the psychological activity when the subject aesthetes,in the field of psychology,aesthetic is a kind of cognitive activity,is also a kind of emotional activity,is the detailed feelings and in-depth understanding of objective things of a person.Aesthetic experience is the subjective feeling of aesthetic subject to the aesthetic object in the process of aesthetic appreciation,it runs through the whole process of the aesthetic processing,is the aesthetic subject's emotional experience when a variety of aesthetic psychological function interact and blend on the basis of asethetic cognition.Beauty,pleasure and love is the most important three dimensions of aesthetic experience,there are hardly experiment methods of domestic researchers using multidimensional behavior test to analyze the aesthetic experience on the current.Because psychological experiments about aesthetic experience almost carried out in western painting arts,there are very few study about Chinese painting which with unique national characteristics and style.Aesthetic study of Chinese painting is the inevitable requirement of aesthetic development,this study discusses the three maindimensions of aesthetic experience of Chinese painting--beauty,pleasure,love detailedly and explores the differences of aesthetic experience in every dimensions between ordinary students and professional art trained students.The main conclusions are as follows:1.In appreciation of art,the students of different painting experience in aesthetic experience significant difference on the aesthetic dimension of fine arts graduate student participants experience the aesthetic feeling of significantly stronger than the fine arts undergraduate subjects,ordinary subjects showed slight aesthetic experience;In aesthetic experience judgment,fine arts graduate student used the shortest time and fine arts undergraduates take second place,the longest used normal subjects.This suggests that,on the judgment of aesthetic experience,trained participants experienced the cognitive processes more quickly,can more quickly and more accurately understand the works implication,intentions,and to experience a more profound aesthetic feeling.2.Students of different painting experience in aesthetic experience pleasure show significant differences in dimensions of fine arts graduate student participants experience the pleasure of significantly stronger than the fine arts undergraduate subjects,ordinary subjects showed slight pleasure experience;In aesthetic experience judgment,fine arts graduate student used the shortest time and fine arts undergraduates take second place,the longest used normal subjects.This suggests that,on the judgment of aesthetic experience,trained participants experience more psychological process,able to stimulate a strong positive subjective experience,the present art works is more prone to pleasant emotional experience.3.Students with different experience in painting show noteworthy differences on the dimension of likeablity about aesthetic experience.Comparing the likeablity on art works,subjects of postgraduates from fine art are conspicuously stronger than its undergraduates,moreover,normal subjects show slight likeablity.The time postgraduates from fine arts spend on the judgement of aesthetic experience is shortest,normal subjects is shorter,however,its undergraduates is long.This shows that subjects trained by profession have more influence on specialized knowledge so that they are triggered more cognition and memory,show deeper emotions and stronger likeablity on art works.4.Analyzing the scores of three main dimensions on aesthetic experience like sense of beauty,sense of pleasant and sense of likeablity to ordinary studens,undergraduate and postgraduate students of fine arts could conclude that sense of beauty,pleasant and likeablity shows conspicuous relativity for normal subjects,sense of beauty and pleasant as well as sense of joy and likeablity show noteworthy relativity for undergraduates of fine art,sense of pleasant and beauty,sense of pleasant and likeablity and sense of beauty and likeablity all show significant relativity for postgraduate students of fine arts.It explains that aesthetic experience is a gradual process and three dimensions are interpenetratve and melt into each other.
