Li Ligu's Return And Perfection To Zhu Xi's Theory Of Li,Qi,Xin,Xing

As a famous philosopher of Korea in the Li Dynasty,Li Ligu has made great contribution to both of the development of philosophy in Korea and the study of Zhu Xi's philosophy of Li(principle),Qi(material),Xin(heart)and Xing(nature).Ever since Zhu Xi,the scholars of Li(principle)have studied the contents within the theoretical system which had been constructed by Zhu Xi.But the scholars' studying focuses differed from each other due to different interpretations of Zhu Xi's philosophical thought.What's more,imperfect comprehension of the seeming theoretical confusion of Zhu Xi's philosophical thought has led the scholars deviated from Zhu Xi's philosophical thought.While Li Ligu is precisely the one who came to realize the profoundness of Zhu Xi's philosophical thought.He regressed to Zhu Xi's philosophical thought and explicated it.He not only enriched the connotation of Zhu Xi's philosophical thought,but also formed his own philosophical characteristics.The construction of Li Ligu's philosophical thought had its theoretical premises.The first premise is the development of Zhu Xi's philosophy of Li(principle),Qi(material),Xin(heart)and Xing(nature).Zhu Xi's philosophy of Li(principle),Qi(material),Xin(heart)and Xing(nature)had formed an enormous and integrated system.After introducing to Korea,it has combined with Korea's various areas like politics,cultures and so on.All these have created conditions for Li Ligu's study.The second premise is Li Ligu's interpretation of Zhu Xi's philosophical thought and his reference and negation of Korean philosophers like Xu Jingde and Li Tuixi.Li Ligu's philosophy of Li(principle),Qi(material),Xin(heart)and Xing(nature)were gradually formed and perfected during these processes of interpretation,reference,negation and regression.On the basis of being faithful to Zhu Xi's philosophy of Li(principle)and Qi(material),Li Ligu put forward the theory of the order,mastery,movement and motionless of Li(principle)and Qi(material).And then he formed the theory that Xin(heart)and Xing(nature)are united while differing in spiritual state,the theory of the four beginnings and the seven emotions and the theory of the heart of human and truth.Li Ligu's philosophy of Li(principle),Qi(material),Xin(heart)and Xing(nature)had great impact on both the regression and interpretation of Zhu Xi's philosophical thought and the development of Korea's philosophy.Meanwhile,both of Zhu Xi and Li Ligu's philosophies of Li(principle),Qi(material),Xin(heart)and Xing(nature)have had very rich ideological connotations.Therefore,it is worthwhile digging deep into these philosophies and expanding their values.
