Study Of The Time Consciousness Of Zhang Ailing's Prose

"Time" is both one of important topics discussed by philosophers and scientists,and an aesthetic object that cannot be avoided in the writer's creative activities.The modernity time consciousness is contained in Chinese modern literature itself,which is penetrated into the literature of Zhang Ailing as a member of the modern Chinese literary circle.So,it is feasible to interpret Zhang Ailing's prose from the perspective of time awareness.Throughout Zhang Ailing 's prose creation,her time consciousness presents a multi-dimensional form.First of all,in the first chapter,the author briefly combs three kinds of time consciousness in the development history of human time concept,including cycle time consciousness,linear time consciousness and objective time consciousness.Particularly,the importance of the "modernity" time consciousness as one of subjective time consciousness cannot be ignored in Zhang Ailing 's prose.Secondly,in the second chapter,two kinds of time consciousness in Zhang Ailing's prose are mainly discussed,namely,cycle time consciousness and linear time consciousness.Based on Zhang Ailing's doubt for the linear time and dilemma for the historical time,Zhang Ailing's attachment to the cycle time is expressed in the paper.However,the linear time-based "current" consciousness draw Zhang Ailing back from departure,leading to her wandering between the cycle time consciousness and the linear time consciousness.Finally,in the third chapter,the author deeply explores another two kinds of time consciousness in Zhang Ailing's prose,that is,the objective time consciousness and the subjective time consciousness,in order to analyze the opposing state of these two kinds of time consciousness.The elaboration is mainly done from three aspects:the transcendence of the sentimentality consciousness,the time stagnation,as well as the intertwining of history and current time.It is concluded that Zhang Ailing's subjective time consciousness aims to get rid of the mechanical and physical consciousness for the conscious pursuit of the true life experience,which frees her from the wandering between the cycle time consciousness and the linear time consciousness so as to transcend time and achieve eternity,so that the poetic beauty of Zhang Ailing's prose is also revealed.
