The purpose of this paper is to elucidate and analyze the development of the Soviet Union's foreign policy during the Cold War,and get some inspiration from it.The Soviet Union divided the Israeli foreign policy into three stages:from 1947 to 1953,the Soviet Union carried out friendly policies against Israel.During this period, the Soviet Union supported the Jewish nationhood and provided military assistance to the newly established Israel, allowing Eastern European Jews to emigrate to Israel. The reason, there are two main points:First, the history of the Soviet Union has a south of the Middle East tradition.Second, after World War II,Britain and France unable to maintain the existence of the Middle East, the Soviet Union by the Jews to build the country into the Middle East. The impact of the Soviet Union on the implementation of the Israeli policy of friendship was:first,to support Israel to make the Soviet Union into the Middle East;secondly,to achieve an independent nation-building and an independent war against Israel;and thirdly, make conflict seed. From the death of Stalin in 1953 to the time of the Brezhnev in the 1980s,the Soviet Union took hostile policy against Israel.During this period, the Soviet Union fell to the Arab countries, refused to aid Israel, restrictions on domestic and Eastern European Jews immigrated to Israel. The reasons are:first, the Soviet Union and the Arab countries between the original grudge gradually eliminated.Secondly, the inherent differences between Israel and the Soviet Union gradually appear. The Soviet Union's influence on the implementation of the Israeli hostile policy was:first,in the short term, the Soviet Union supported the Arabs so that the Soviet Union was rapidly expanding its forces in the Middle East;secondly, the diplomatic environment for Israel was exacerbated Its back to the West, lost a certain degree of diplomatic autonomy;third, intensified the Arab-Israeli conflict. In the last time of the Soviet Union Gorbachev, the Soviet Union introduced a policy of easing to Israel.During this period, the Soviet Union reconstructed diplomatic relations with Israel and relaxed Jewish immigration restrictions. The reason, there are two main points:First, the Soviet Union's new thinking diplomacy.Secondly,Israel began its own all-round diplomacy. The Soviet Union's implementation of the Israeli policy of easing has had a positive and negative impact on both the Soviet Union and Israel, and at the same time promoted the peaceful settlement of the Arab-Israeli issue to a certain extent.Through the analysis of this article, the revelation is:first, the big country can not completely control the small country;second, foreign policy should be sustained;third,China's diplomacy in the Middle East to take a fair and equitable position.
