There are many similarities between Vico and Marx's thought, these similarities are not some kinds of coincidences, but profound internal logic. If we want deduce the Influence of Vico's conception of history on Marx's philosophy of history through these similarities,we must find out the most bright and unique part and analysis them. Here are two points different from the rest: Vico and Marx's understanding of ‘historical knowledge' and ‘class struggle'.At first,Vico and Marx both agree that the general knowledge of history is the ture science.Vico oppose Descartes' s metaphysics for rejection history field by the principle of ‘truth-creating',Marx sublate both Hegel's metaphysics and Feuerbach's materialism trough the principle of ‘reality'.Secondly,Vico and Marx both agree that the class struggle to promote the development of history. In Vico, class struggle lurking in the artistic creation such as poems, myths and legends,is closely connected with the history of human civilization. In Marx,Vico provide him the reasonable theory of class struggle in the field of human history as premise,at the same time,in the field of natural science,Darwin dis this work for him. When we concern the relationship between Vico's conception of history with Marx's philosophy of history,as a comparison we must consider Marx's understanding of Darwin.Whether in his document contents or personal letters,Marx always threat Vico and Darwin as equally important, but in fact he takes different attitudes to them. For the former Marx rarely mentioned Vico but obviously familiar with Vico's theory, for the latter Marx discussed with others frequently but only made some brief interpretation.Through the contrast,we can affirm that Vico's influence on Marx is more earlier and deeper than Darwin's.
