Research On Artistic Characteristics Of Beibingliangbiao In Yongji And Its Inheritance And Development

Beibingliangbiao in Yongji is a rare art in China and is a unique folk art in Shanxi,which is mainly composed of Beibing gongs and drums,carried by people who only wear shorts in winter and carry ice to play entering the river,breaking the ice,crawling forward and invulnerable prestige dance as well as flower gongs and drums with unique props and beautiful decorations.These two complement each other and display the strong and beauty together.It is of important research value for studying the origin of folk dance of Han nationality,dance forms and folk culture of Yellow River.This paper takes artistic characteristics of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji as main research contents,takes the exploration of inheritance and development of Beibingliangbiao as objective,sorts out and summarizes a lot of texts and video data collected from Shanxi library,Yuncheng Cultural Bureau and Yongji Culture Center with adoption of literature induction method.It has visited Changwang Village of Yongji City for many times and made investigation visit for production and development process of Beibingliangbiao and cultural and ecological environment.It has adopted field investigation method to check the rehearsal and performance of Beibingliangbiao in Changwang Village on spot and learnt the throwing gong action and footsteps with the most characteristics from Xiang Jianfeng and other inheritors.This paper firstly analyzes and summarizes the generation and development of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji,explores its generation origin and development and analyzes objective conditions that affect generation and development of Beibingliangbiao from two aspects of natural environment and social environment;Secondly,it makes detailed elaborations for the artistic characteristics of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji from performance overview,costumes and props,rhythms of gongs and drums and dance movements,compares it with similar art and attains characteristics of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji,including novel and beautiful props,unique and simple playing methods,rich and diversified movements,simple and complete procedure.Lastly,it proposes to get back to square,enter classroom and walk toward stage for the production and inheritance of Beibinglliangbiao from a development perspective.The writer attains following achievements through above research,1.It explores the artistic characteristics of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji in specific cultural ecology;2.A square dance of 30 people has been designed based on the fact that flower gongs are suitable for group performance;3.Seven classroom compositions have been prepared after factor decomposition of original movements of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji and extraction of features;4.Content and structure of dance drama “Beibing Hero” has been conceived based on the historical culture and movement features of Beibingliangbiao in Yongji.
