An Aspect Of The Origin Of The New-period Literature

This article takes Fen shui,a journal published by Shanxi Art and Literature Office between 1976 and 1981,as the object of the study.On the basis of analyzing the works of relative writers,it shall present the complicated origin of new period and aid the proof of the discussion about the origin of the new-period literature.Fenshui,as a transition and brige of the Spark and Shan xi Literature,connects the “seventeen years literature” with “80s literature”,showing the basic style and development of Shan xi literature between 1976 and 1981,which plays and important trantional part in the process of contemporary literature.Chapter one presents the background of its running as well as some relative statistics.After 1971,there was a trend of relaxing restreictions in the cultural and ideological sphere,and plenty of local comprehensive literature journals resumed publication.Besides,the showfolks in Shan xi made great efforts.ALL of them promoted the start of Fenshui.This article researches the interaction of several speech forces in the early of the new period of Shanxi in aspects of time mirror,column setup and editorial ideas to show Fen shui's important transitional role in the beginning of the new period.Chapter two anlalyzes the representative short stories published by Fen shui.It starts from evolution of the themes and the depiction of the characters,along with reference to the ideological trend creation of the“scare literature” of the same age,finding that the themes of the texts show the complex progress of the origin of the new-period literature in Shanxi,which not only includes the narrative modes of the cultural revolution,but also indistinctly shows the speech of new period instead of showing “scar” on purpose.Most works were the further step of the Realism works.Chapter three shows the several generations of the writers of Shanxi worked together in the Fenshui period as well as the intergenerationchanges of the writers.It reappears the creative concept and writing experience of the writers at that time,which is helpful to illuminating the variety and complexity of the literature field in the Fenshui period.On the one hand,the several generations of writers,from “ the Potato School”to“Jin School”made creation in the period of joint of ideological trend in the whold China.On the other hand,the traditional themes and the styles of the Potato School go on being inheritated,but it is not the same with the general thought of the new-period ideological trend.
