On The Translating Approaches Of Autobiography,as Shown In Trail Of An Artist-naturalist

What characterizes the world today is global development.Communications in different fields such as cultural,economical,educational aspects from all over the world is so frequent.As China's status in the world affairs is becoming more important,traditional Chinese cultures are received by people from different places.But the quality of translated versions of foreign masterpieces are not good enough,affecting the original intentions of the authors to some degree.Sometimes it misguides the Chinese when they are trying to understand the foreign countries.The author of this paper translated five chapters of Trail of An Artist-Naturalist as the example to make the translating research.This essay is divided into four parts: description of translating task,description of translating process,analysis of translating methods of autobiography text and the summary of translating task.The first part contains the background information,introduction of translating task.The second part is about the preparation process,the translating process,and the revision process of this translating task.The third part refers to the translating problems and solutions of the translating process.The last part is the summary and reflection of this translating task.
