In the era drive by media technology and network technology,the status of image has increased to a level never been reached,the research of the relationship between image and text also has become even more prosperous.Because of the need to reproduce the historical scene,historical works has a tradition of using images,the history of Chinese literature is no exception.Based on the introduction of the use of image and text in the history of the Chinese literature,from the perspective of intertextuality,this paper mainly discussed five kinds of relationship between image and text in the history of Chinese Literature,including illustrating,supplement,strengthening,metaphor and alternation.About the five kinds of relationship between image and text,they have many common point and also some differentia.For example,illustrating and supplement both emphasize illustrating,their differentia is that the former also emphasize compactness in term of logic and the latter also emphasize the wholeness of the comment.From illustrating to alternation,the relationship between image and text is more and more complicated,and thus,the connotation is more and more rich.At the same time,this paper also elaborates the difference between the history of literary map and Illustrated literature.The author also believes that the current practice of literature is not perfect,to change this situation,a pressing matter of the moment is to focus on summing up the successful experience,in order to establish and improve the academic standard,in the long term,we need more attention on the practice of using image and text in picture-reading era to get more significance,so that we could have more power on sustainable innovation.
