On The “Experiences In Japan” Of Zhou Zuoren's Essays

Zhou Zuoren's essays were deeply influenced by Japan and Japanese culture.For him,the Japanese experiences were not only the practice concept of life during his stay in Japan,but also has been internalized into the important ideas of his literary creation.This thesis is based on his point of view of the “Experiences in Japan",read the changes of his life experiences and thoughts for reference,quote the relative cultural common senses and speeches both of China and Japan,introduce his description of Japanese Culture in his essays,and try to make a point of its evaluation according to the relationship between the Japanese Experiences and the creation of Zhou Zuoren's essays in as many aspects of the comparative study as possible.This thesis is divided into Preface,four Chapters and Epilogue,six parts in total.Preface: aim to introduce the concept of the “Experiences in Japan”,which will be focused on the relationship between Zhou Zuoren and Japan.Then to summarize the present situation and the related researches on this topic,as well as the research methods and the basic framework of this thesis.The first chapter is about Zhou zuoren's individual experiences and the formation of his emotional tone to Japan,which will be divided into two parts: one is his safe studying abroad career in Japan and the Japanese family which he successfully established.The other is the researches of Japan in his whole life regardless of the mixed views of others.The second chapter is the essays about the Japanese Experiences,will be discussed from two aspects.The first one is the Japanese daily life habits of recording,is divided into two sections,respectively are the thought of “ Food is the First Necessity of People” as well as Zhou Zuoren's favorite to the Japanese diet and the pursuit of simplicity of the Japanese clothing as well as his adaptation to Japanese daily life.The second one is the Japanese folk arts,also contains two sections: the mentality of “Playing Games and Enjoy Everything ” and the Japanese folk arts,the emotion of “Recalling the Past” and the pickups of traditional Japanese custom.The third chapter is on the relationship of the Japanese tea ceremony with ZhouZuoren and his essays.The first section,the pursuit of “Beyond Life” in tea ceremony and the construction of Zhou's view of life.The second section,the tea philosophy and Zhou's essays,which is going to be divided into three sections: the “All is One”patterns of tea ceremony and the written form of Zhou's essays in the theme of“Everything”,the implication of “for a While” within tea ceremony and Zhou's writing mentality of “a Flash of Thought”,the state of tea ceremony of the “Taste Zen in Tea” and the gentle style of Zhou's essays.The fourth chapter is the dialectical evaluation of Zhou Zuoren's “Japanese Experiences”.One is create an all-new form to experience Japan,the other is his indulgence to enjoyment.Conclusion is mainly about the overall summary of the research value of this topic.This paper tries to find out more information which is ignored,and improve the results of previous studies,and provide a new reference value for Chinese contemporary academic researches.
