The main content of this paper is about the Dewey's ideas about the relationship between experience and certainty.Dewey has played a significant role in the development of pragmatism,and the concept of experience is one of the most important concepts in Dewey's philosophical thought,and the term "experience" directly relates to the core of his philosophy.In traditional philosophy,the dualism of the idea of the world will be divided into two,eventually leading to philosophy from life farther and farther.Dewey criticizes the traditional philosophical view of experience,and that the traditional philosophy expressed in this "non-empirical" approach is not the right way for mankind to seek truth,will only hang the philosophy at high altitude,and can not Solve the fundamental problem of philosophy.Dewey's emphasis on experience is an experience that is closely related to the real world and realistic practice,and is also a naturalist sense of empiricism.At the same time Dewey's experience as a way to exist in nature,and to guide our specific life,which is in order to face the full range of danger in the world to take a kind of measures,people in order to avoid the need to avoid the need Security,this security is the search for certainty,in Dewey's view,experience for the search for certainty has an important use,the same deterministic search is also by way of experience to achieve.The whole writing framework of this thesis includes the introduction,which is divided into four parts.The introduction part mainly discusses the research background and the research methods and the shortcomings in the writing process.In the following three chapters,the author discusses the origin of Dewey's philosophical thought,Dewey's definition of experience and certainty,and finally discusses the relationship between Dewey's philosophy and his determinism.
