The Study Of Chinese Traditional Painting Elements In Oil Painting Creation

Oil painting into China has been hundreds of years of history.The introduction of oil painting has brought a great impact to the Chinese painting.Chinese painting keep growing and improving changes on the basis of European techniques.In the early days of reform and opening up,various art institutions and societies were set up.Under the guidance of Cai Yuanpei’s "aesthetic education",people’s enthusiasm for learning art was highly inflated.Some foreign teachers were invited to China to teach oil painting,and some young artists study abroad for further study.Because of the different teaching methods and genres,the early development of Chinese oil painting had different styles.The development of Chinese oil painting had a lot of limitations due to the limitation of environmental and material.For the development of Chinese oil paintings,generations of outstanding artists in the continuous exploration of the study,constantly thinking about the discussion.Some artists quickly realized that it was meaningless to learn and imitate European oil paintings if Chinese oil paintings want to develop further.Meanwhile,Chinese excellent traditional culture is an inexhaustible treasure trove.How to make oil painting rooted in the traditional Chinese culture,is the key to the development of Chinese oil painting.So a group of innovative artists did some new attempt and change.They draw inspiration from traditional Chinese painting elements,and split the inherent drawing patterns.Then reconstruct them with new ideas and techniques which make the works more inclusive and contemporary.They try to open the boundaries of Chinese painting,so that the Chinese art accepted by more and more people’s aesthetic.They not only bring a new look for the development of Chinese oil painting,but also inherit and develop the China’s outstanding traditional culture.On the basis of understanding the characteristics of Chinese and western traditional aesthetics,this paper analyzes the similarities and differences between Chinese and western aesthetics.Studies from the three parts of landscape-landscape,flower and bird,and woman to study that how artists extracted from traditional Chinese painting in oil painting to creation.And the analysis of typical cases,to understand their purpose and meaning of creation.
