Smoking is one of the main causes of disease and death in the world, and has become the biggest threat to human health. In addition to the physiological level, smoking can lead to a large degree of clinical or subclinical nicotine dependence, that is,smoking addiction. In addition to cigarettes behind the cigarette addiction, dependence and addiction also means that social and psychological factors,so to understand the psychological factors of smoking addiction and behavior mechanism, helps to control smokers, improve prevention and treatment of diseases caused by smoking.Smoking-related studies have shown that more than half of smokers aged 18 to 30 have become severe smokers before the age of 18.Adolescents are at the stage of development and are the source of smokers, and have attracted the attention of many psychiatrists, psychologists and educators.Previous functional imaging studies have found that the structure and function of the brain regions of the brain of adolescents with adolescents are different from those of normal adolescents.Abuse of tobacco may lead to an increase in chronic diseases and mortality.Smokers are more inclined to choose the immediate interest, adjust their ability is poor, showing the impulse behavior. The two impulse paradigms play an important role in smoking behavior. On the one hand, delayed behavior patterns, delayed reward smokers crowd control had significant differences, personal smoking is more impulsive than nonsmoking and smoking cessation of the individual delay discount;on the other hand, behavioral inhibition paradigm, behavioral inhibition ability is poorer, more difficult to control individual smoking, which means more addictive, the inhibition is considered as an important factor to resist addiction. In addition,a large number of cigarettes on the signal of attentional bias and desire for personal smoking confirmed related signals(such as smoking chart)can activate and enhance the smoker's craving impulse, but no contact and personal behavior.Smoking in adolescence may lead to nicotine dependence,so it is important to study adolescent smoking. The aim of the study was to investigate whether there is a change inFlanker(error),Pe(positivity)in young smokers, using EEG event-related potential(ERP).15 adolescent smokers and 15 nonsmokers were included in this study.Through the event of young smokers and control group comparison Flanker task related potentials(Event-related potentials ERP),found that adolescent smokers Pe amplitude decreased significantly, the difference may indicate the presence of young smokers in error monitoring. At the same time,it was found that Pe amplitude was significantly correlated with cigarette smoking years(pack-years)in adolescent smokers(P<0.05).This study provides a theoretical basis for the theoretical model of smoking addiction, and provides a supplement and preparation for further study on the mechanism of smoking addiction.
