The Translation Report Of Human Beings Half Alien Half The Earth Man

This report is based on the translation of the book Human beings,half alien,half the earth man,which written by the famous doctor of history,prehistoric civilization research expert,and extra-terrestrial life research expert Li Weidong.The book argues that each of us is not just a combination of simple protein and a chain of genes,it is possible that there is another structure of life and another non-physical properties in our bodies.According to analyze one ancient Chinese medical book the Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine,This author proposed that alien genes exit in human bodies,the ancestors of human being was from the distant universe.The purpose of this translation is to transmit the writer's view completely and precisely to the target language readers,so they could understand the meaning of the original text and resonate to it.This report follows the principles of cultranslation theory,studying the difficulties and translation skills by analyzing the translation characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and science article.Under the guidance this theory,the translator mainly use translation methods of literal translation,annotated literal translation,free translation,transliteration and annotated transliteration,try utmost to reappear the written style and the way of thinking of the original text.The report is composed of five chapters.The first part is introduction,which the translator describes the research background,purpose and significance of this thesis.The second part is literature review,including original text description and text analysis,and also provides a brief description of the Cultranslation theory.The third part is the introduction of specific translation process,and preparation beforetranslation.The forth part is the main part of this report,which gives case study and how to figure out specific translation difficulties.And the last part is conclusion,in this chapter,the translator summarizes the translation problems,indicates shortcomings,and offers some useful suggestions and lessons during translation.
