The Chinese film has a history of more than 110 years since it was born in 1905.During this period of more than a century,the Chinese film has undergone from the bud to the gradual development of mature stage.Starting from a photographic pavilion,now China has become a world-famous film country,2016,China's mainland film total box-office to 49.2 billion,as of the first quarter of 2017,China's cinema has more than 43000 screen number,become the world's largest screen number of countries.The minority theme movies are an important part of the Chinese film family,and also a significant part of China's culture,contributing their own strength to the development of the domestic film industry.From the historical point of view,the development of the minority theme movies in Xinjiang has a history of 62 years,and as experienced the budding,screen gold "17 years",exploring the development period;from the subject point of view,the Xinjiang minority theme movies mainly in Uygur and Kazakh nationality themes.However,despite the long history of Xinjiang minority theme movies,although the theme is colorful and undertakes the special cultural inheritance and spread the culture of Xinjiang,but throughout today's Chinese film pattern,it is really hard to find ethnic films overrepresented.As a multi-ethnic country living with 56 nationalities,China has a remarkable diversity of cultural superiority,and the film as a new era in the context of the masses of important cultural and entertainment methods,should disseminate more diversified cultural traditions.Especially in the "One Belt One Road" concept prevalent today,in the intersection of the four civilizations of Xinjiang,with a large number of ancient Silk Road culture remains,Xinjiang minority theme movies is like a dusty pearl,need to get more attention and research.The in-depth study of the minority movies in Xinjiang,not only for the inheritance and dissemination of ethnic culture needs,but also can inject new vitality for Chinese movies and the foreign output and dissemination of China's film culture.In this paper,the main reasons for the selection of Kazak movies in Xinjiang minority theme movies are as follows: First,Kazak is one of the 13 world-Habitat nationalities in Xinjiang,and the second largest minority in Xinjiang besides Uygur nationality.The world's Kazakh has about 19 million people,in China has a population of about 1.6 million,and mainly distributed in ili kazak autonomous prefecture.The study of Kazak movies in Xinjiang,which will play an active role in the dissemination of Kazak culture,strengthens the communication between Han cultures and ethnic cultures,and can also understand the unique cultural traditions and living conditions of the Kazak nationality in Xinjiang through the jigsaw of movies.Second,the Kazak theme movies occupy an important cultural position in the history of the national theme movies in Xinjiang,this special cultural status can be summed up in Xinjiang Kazak theme film Six "One",respectively: 1.The first minority theme film in Xinjiang "Hasen and Jamila"(1955);2.The first minority film "Lilac Horse" during reform and opening up policy(1979);3.The first director and screenwriter of Xinjiang is the creator of the film "Girl Grave" who is from the nation of Kazak(1982).4.The first step of Xinjiang's film of art "Beautiful Homeland"(2004)5.The first time the Xinjiang film adopts the Kazakh language simultaneous sound,enables the foreign actor to join in,and the first time through the social financing way to carry on the artistic creation "Eternal Sheep"(2010);Kazak Theme Film is the only all-round manifestation of grassland theme in Xinjiang so far.There are 19 films containing Kazakh themes in Xinjiang,including 13 in the narrative of Kazakh characters.The Kazak film usually ignored by the film researchers because of its late start,less work and little influence,but the new century in the industry has been widely praised by the Kazak theme movies at home and abroad which is also repeatedly harvest awards.With profound cultural heritage,the art works enrich the theme types of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang,spread the Kazakh national culture,strengthen cross-cultural exchanges with both domestic and foreign countries,although not many,but in Xinjiang minority theme movies occupy an important position.A comprehensive survey of the domestic research on minority theme movies,the discovery of the Kazakh theme of Xinjiang film text research is fragmented,the concern is not high and lack of overall care.Under the new historical background,it is the innovation of this article to make a more comprehensive and concise summary of Kazakh nationality movies,not only the development and supplement of the predecessors ' research but also the characteristic of this paper.In addition to Kazak films innovation embodied in the previous text mentioned in the number of studies more comprehensively,but also reflected in the different angles of research.This article will start from the angle of film science,focusing on the character image and narrative characteristics of Kazak movies,exploring the Kazak nationality art and culture,exploring the development space of Kazakh theme movies.Through the study of 13 movies,the paper makes a thorough analysis of the literary creation of Kazak subjects.And it is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction of the Xinjiang Kazak film related to the general situation and induction of research.The second part is the retrospect and summarization of Kazak movies.Taking Xinjiang film development time as a clue,Xinjiang Kazak theme movie history is divided into: the preliminary exploration period of Kazak subject screen,the national image exploring development period and the new century original ecology image expression period three part,briefly introduces the plot content and the historical position of the selected 13 films.The third part mainly analyzes the character and shape of Kazak characters,including the image of the pursuit of free love,the image of defending the frontier,the collision and fusion of grassland civilization and modern civilization.The fourth part mainly discusses the narrative characteristics of Kazak movies,and analyzes the unique charm of Kazak movies from the angles of narrative person,narrative space-time and national culture.The fifth part summarizes the current development situation of Kazak theme movies,tries to discover the problems existed in the course of creation and tries to explore the development direction,and puts forward suggestions on the localization of creative personnel,the localization of text and the development of the strategy.Kazak Theme Movies should continue to strengthen the narrative power,rich creative ideas of "temple","Rivers and lakes" and actively take the market road,to create better national theme movies.
