Research About Xu Wuwen's Running Hand Calligraphy

Mr.Xu Wuwen contributed greatly to Ba-Shu culture of the 20 th century.His influence on calligraphy seal cutting is continued until today.He has achieved great success in many areas and is a master of art and literature of philology,literature,calligraphy,seal cutting,appreciation and education.His art practice,rich culture and the noble moral character,makes him the model of scholar-calligraphers.All Mr.Xu Wuwen's life insist on art.Mr.Xu is good at many scripts,such as seal character,official script,regular script,running script,and cursive script.Running script is the most number of Mr.Xu Wuwen and widely used.Xu Wuwen's script is clear and elegant,thin hard and elegant.His traditional skill is very deep,and get the true technique of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi.His writing learn Wang Xizhi's forceful,very subtle,bold,neat and handsome;and Wang Xianzhi's high spirits,free flying.His writing based on them,but does not get bogged down in them.In addition,Mr.Xu Wuwen's writing combines writing techniques of calligraphers such as Beibei,Ouyang Xun,Chu Suiliang and Mi Fu.His calligraphy style is solid,modern and which now turning old into new.His running script has characteristics of stippling rich line of thin hard strong,adherence to the laws of structure is flexible and new,barely discernable on the art of adaptation,elegant and easy,brimming with literati,scholars,and knowledge.Xu Wuwen's art of calligraphy has often been covered by his seal and seal cutting art,so Xu Wuwen calligraphy art has little dedicated system.His study of the art of calligraphy and the calligraphy idea allows us to think more deeply about the scholar and calligrapher's art history and the key to success,also put forward higher requirements in terms of character and thinking.On the basis of previous research,this paper will do research from the following four aspects.First,Mr.Xu Wuwen's social background and history of the calligraphy,from Mr Xu Wuwen science background and his family and tips for teachers,friends,and so on,to sort out the course of his study.Second,By comparing the script works in different periods,and intuitive understanding of the evolution of the running script style of art,this paper describes Xu Wuwen's characteristics of calligraphy art,mainly from the works of Mr.Xu Wuwen's cursive script,analysis of the techniques of writing,lettering,art and so on,and the whole ethos.Third,from the calligraphy to classical tradition,science teacher,rich knowledge,character formation of calligraphy art Islam conservation features of the original.Fourth,exploring the art of calligraphy and his calligraphy art achievement ideas on the contemporary calligraphy education.
