Music Characteristics And Singing Analysis On Pingdi-yao Folk Songs In Fuchuan-for Song Of Butterflies And Song Of Luxilalie

Pingdi-Yao folk song in Fuchuan is a carrier of primitive culture in human history and contains historical development elements of Yao people.Besides,it is full of cultural connotation.Throughout the research on Pingdi-Yao folk song,we can grasp its characteristics more appropriately.In order to enable the following generation to inherit and develop Pingdi-Yao folk song,I chose this topic and conducted detailed analysis on its two-vocal-part folk songs: Song of Butterflies and Song of Luxilalie.The writer found that there were lots of researches on music inheritance and protection but neglecting the music form.Hopefully,the traditional folk and national music can be well inherited and developed based on the further study of Pingdi-Yao folk song and analysis of its music and singing characteristics.This paper discussed the Pingdi-Yao Folk Songs in Fuchuan from five aspects.It introduced its background in the first section.And in the second section,a detailed analysis of lyrics features of Song of Butterflies and Song of Luxilalie is addressed.In section three,it illustrated the melody,range,rhythm,beat and song structure as well as tonality based on general characteristics of both folk songs.Also,it addressed special melody and beats features.In section four,it analyzed the two songs from perspective of singing and concluded its singing features based on master of my own voice.In the last section,analyze the inheritance,development and its future risks.It goes far beyond than learning from former music but to deeper research and protection.What's more,it stated the significance of inheriting and protecting under the 21st century globalization so as to realize the inheritance and development of national music in real.
