This article compared 2 versions of audio tracks of Mozart's Vocal Divertimento,Exsultate,jubilate for Soprano in F major,K.165/158 a.The Milan version was performed by the American coloratura Kathleen Battle,accompanied with the German-American conductor André Previn's modern orchestra;while the Salzburg version was performed by the English soprano Emma Kirkby,accompanied with the English conductor Christopher Hogwood's classical orchestra.The two pieces of audio were compared and analyzed from the aspects of lyrics version,Latin pronunciation,singing performance processing,and accompaniment performance.As the conclusion,the singing methods of both singer were revealed,how the performance affects the style was studied,and the basic learning tips for coloratura were summarized. |
