In this paper,the author’s graduation creation is taken as clue,and through the introduction of graduation production and thinking,some ideas on the development of contemporary Chinese prints are raised,and the feasibility analysis is carried out.First,the source,method and significance of graduation creation are introduced in the Introduction part.The author thinks that the “plurality” of engraving is a double-edged sword,while binding the engraving creation,it also gives a lot of possibilities to engraving language,and this paper intends to solve the problem of plurality.In the accumulation of years of learning,I also feel a little boring,restless in only graphic engraving works,and trying to make a three-dimensional space concept,as well as my strong interest in combination of mud and fire,I have selected the combination mode of printmaking language and ceramic art.In the second chapter,by introducing my own production process and thinking mode,the concepts of repetition and manual are also introduced,they are distinctive features of engravings,as well as the relationship between engravings and the outside world.Then,it is naturally transited to the 3rd chapter,various possibilities are proposed in the thinking of the engravings boundary,including the repetition phenomenon even common in nature,because of its broad concept,so it can be a good choice to enrich the language forms of engravings,coupled with the unique texture of the inherent nature of engravings,which can not be replaced by general mechanical products;meanwhile,the reproduction of engravings also has the convenience of mechanical reproduction;thus it can be seen that the engraving language is well in line with many media,for example,the indirect transfer of engravings is reflected in many installation works.This brings a lot of possibilities for the development of engraving in China.And through the introduction of the author’s attempt in the creation: using the method of combining ceramic art form with engraving concept to enrich the plurality expression of engravings.And assumptions are put forward for the combination of other media and engraving,and combined with some domestic and international printmaking artist’s creation experience,the practical possibilities of these assumptions are illustrated;what’s more,ideas of some philosophers or literary critics are listed to verify the theoretical possibilities of these assumptions.Finally,this paper summarizes the views,the creation of China’s printmaking has been difficult to continue,the engraving creation can not just stay on the surface of the technical exploration,requiring the upgrading consciousness,engraving creation needs diversification.However,for the characteristics of the print itself,it is not a one-sided negativity,the core concept of Printmaking is something still to be insisted,however,in the specific methods,requiring more innovations.In addition,the experience gained and the problems found of the author in past years are also summarized,ad based on the analysis of these problems,the development direction of some engravings is put forward,so as to lay the foundation for future artistic creation.In the 3rd chapter,the discussion of repetition is the focus of this paper,and through the analysis of the repetition of various forms of art,the author discusses the value and status of repetition in contemporary art with the help of the ideological points of view of literary theorists and philosophers.Back to the 4th chapter,my own graduation creation,the creative ideas and process are introduced,as well as results of exploring repeated aesthetic values. |
