County In Guizhou Miao Culture Industry Development Research

The western regions of China have rich distinctive minority cultural resources,so it has huge potential for economic development.Deepening of China's Western Region Development strategy and implementation of "the Belt and Road" initiative have given unpr ecedented opportunities to minority cultural industry of the western regions.Together with opportunities,fierce competition has been brought to it.Besides making full and flexible use of national policies,minority cultural industry of the western regio ns must make clear of the development route and work out scientific,reasonable and forward-looking development strategies and planning based on its resource advantages and characteristics.Guizhou Province,an inland province in western China,has multip le ethnic groups and rich ethnic culture.Among the 17 minorities,Miao is the most populous one.Miao culture is the main component of Guizhou's ethnic culture,and Miao cultural industry plays a key role in Guizhou's cultural industry.Miao Wangcheng,one of important Miao settlements in Songtao County,Guizhou Province,has a profound history,a splendid culture,distinctive Miao cultural characteristics and sound conditions for integrated development of cultural industry and tourism.After 10-year development,Miao Wangcheng has made great achievements in many fields,such as resources integration,industrial integration,market development,operating revenue,employment of villagers and image marketing.Miao Wangcheng ' s cultural industry mainly involves Miao clothing,silver accessories,folk art and food.Due to lack of fund,backward science and technology,insufficient talents and repeated shift of management power,Miao Wangcheng ' s cultural industry has not gained much innovative power and market com petitiveness.This thesis took Miao Wangcheng' s cultural industry as the object of study,and analyzed the current situation and the existing problems of cultural resource composition and the cultural industry in light of ethnology,anthropology and industrial economics.Based on the above,the basic idea to make breakthroughs of the bottlenecks was proposed.Besides introduction and conclusion,the major content of this thesis is as follows.Chapter ? is a comprehensive explanation of cultural resource composition of Miao Wangcheng and general characteristics of the resources;Chapter III is an in-depth analysis of composition of Miao Wangcheng's cultural industry and its progress;In Chapter IV,the author made an in-depth analysis on problems found in t he development process of Miao Wangcheng's cultural industry,such as backward industry planning idea,low capitalization of ethnic culture and single industrial benefit;Chapter V is a discussion of concentration degree of Miao Wangcheng's cultural resour ces and competitiveness of its cultural industry and a comparative analysis with neighboring places considering market competitiveness;Lastly,the author made SWOT analysis to learn favorable and adverse conditions and opportunities and challenges faced b y Miao Wangcheng's cultural industry,and then proposed countermeasures and suggestions.
