The object of this paper is to study the bronze support of Eastern Zhou Period in the Central Plains. The bronze support Zun(?)is an accessory of wooden handles, mainly used at the end of bronze weapons.Using archaeological typology analysis,we clarify the principle of the bronze support division.According to the shape, ornamentation and amount, and referring to the periodization of Earthenware as well as Bronze Ritual Vessels,we divide them into three periods:Middle and Late Spring and Autumn Period,Early Warring States Period and Middle, and Late Warring States Period. Then based on the spatial distribution characteristics, the bronze support passed through the three stages from development to prosperity then to decline. Finally three related issues are studied:First of all,the bronze support is mostly excavated from graves of Qing(?),Da Fu(??),Shi(?)and the wealthier civilians.Secondly, bronze supports are associated with bronze weapons in number and relatively-centrally located with the Chariot and Harnesses in graves.Thirdly, combined with historical literature, come upwith the differentiation standard between Zun(?)and Dui(?).
