The Relationship Between High School Student Life Stress Events And Self Harm:A Mediating Effect Of Alexithymia And Social Support

Stressful life events refers to meet all problems in life and work,high school students facing stressful events mainly for learning;self harm refers to cause harm to your body by different ways of behavior in high school students,there is a high incidence of the group;feeling obstacle refers to a lack of distinguishing itself or others emotion and description ability,resulting in interpersonal problems;social support is obtained from the environment or others of the material and spiritual help,especially to the individual perceived.The above four variables will have an important impact on the development of physical and mental.This study used the adolescent life event scale and adolescent social support evaluation scale and Toronto Alexithymia Scale and adolescent self harm scale of 729 high school students were measured to investigate the relationship between each other.The results show that:(1)The validation of the model of the four scales is good,and it has good reliability and validity.(2)The main life events include high school students face learning pressure,interpersonal relationship pressure and adapt to the environment pressure;male pressure higher than girls from rural students are higher than the city students,the mother alone raised students to raise students higher than their parents.(3)The overall incidence rate of high school students' self injurious behavior is as high as 35.5%,among them,boys are higher than girls,and students from rural areas are higher than urban students.(4)High school students have alexithymia is mainly reflected in the description of emotion can not,which comes from the rural students higher than city students,high school grades higher than grade two students.(5)High school students to experience the social support from family,followed by friends and others,which come from the rural students is lower than the city students,raising the students below the mother alone to raise students' parents.(6)High school students' life stress events,alexithymia and self injury between three variables have significant positive correlation,there is significant negative correlation between social support.(7)The stressful life events of high school studentsand alexithymiacan significantly predict self harm,social support can significantly negatively predict self harm.(8)Alexithymia and social support chain plays an intermediary role between stressful life events and self harm in senior high school students.
