The Theoretical Attribute Study Of Poetic Remarks In The Human World

Wang Guowei is one of the greatest scholars in Chinese modern thought history.However,the academic world can't agree on the theoretical attribute study of his Poetic Remarks in the Human World.Some researchers believe that he was mainly influenced by Chinese tradition.They try to explore the relationship between Wang Guowei and Chinese traditional poetics.Some scholars argue that Western poetics has great impact on him.They try their best to study the relationship between Wang Guowei and Western poetics.Others take two aspects into consideration without troubles of choices.I think that we should take account of Chinese tradition and Western poetics.Only in this way can we have objective and comprehensive understanding of Wang Guowei's poetics attribute.For specific research,my study focused on the correlation among Poetic Remarks in the Human World,Zhong Rong's Appreciation of Poetry and Yan Yu's Cang Lang Shi Hua to reveal the traditional characteristics of Wang Guowei's poetics,showing that it is impossible and unwise to develop Chinese poetic thought without absorbing the nutrition of Chinese traditional culture in the modern times of China,although China's modernization is inevitable and it is unavoidable for China's Poetics to learn from Western aesthetic ideas.Wang Guowei's poetics is able to take in the nutrition from Chinese and Western tradition so that he can produce his basic thought of poetics,forming his own “state” as the core of the poetry theory.This theory of the “state” is by no means a refurbished version of Western thought because the West does not have the same theory as the state in China.Wang Guowei's “state” theory is not the simple inheritance of Chinese traditional “state” theory,but its creative transformation because it contains some influence of Western thought.Properly speaking,the “state” theory is a poetic category which embodies the Chinese traditional aesthetic thought under the support of the Western aesthetic thought without utility.It is related to aesthetic intuition,aesthetic emotion,and Chinese traditional aesthetic spirit in connection with Expressing Ideal,Sentimentality,Sense of Things and Situational Theory.In these circumstances,it is doomed to be a concept of Chinese and Western Poetics.
