The philosophy and ideology differences between western world and eastern world can be found in the comparison between Confucius and humanism, between Daoism and Logos. In the hope of trying to explore the specific methods and ways of bidirectional elucidation between Chinese and Western poetics, the thesis takes such research methods as close reading, culture study and medio-translatology in comparative poetics to reveal the collision and sparkles occurring when Chinese Literature Theory encountered Western Poetics in Stephen Owen's worksIt is undoubted that there are some deviations in the understanding of cross-cultural texts because of the influence of receivers'various elements and the receiving environment. But these deviations can not be eliminated but be narrowed. Stephen Owen's creative treason occurring in the process of cultural adoption is the result of the invisible manipulation of Oriental and Western Civilization, which is why his Literature theory is studies.
