Using the method of qualitative research and quantitative research,this paper studies the development level and the relationship between emotion regulation and self-control ability of 3-6 years old children.To measure the development level of children's emotion regulation ability and self-control level of development,and explore the relationship between the two.And then to intervene to the development of children's self-control ability.further verify the relationship between emotion regulation and self-control.The results are:(1)the level of children's emotion regulation ability of 3-6 years old was improved with the increase of children's age,and the dimensions were improved.in different degrees.(2)3-6 years old children's self-control ability increased with the growth of children's age,and the four dimensions with the overall trend of change in varying degrees of improvement.(3)3-6 years old children's self-control and emotion regulation ability have correlation and significant regression effect,and have positive predictive effect.(4)The development of children's self-control can affect the development of children's emotion regulation ability.
