With the development of China and it rising status in the world, more and more foreign residents start to settle down in this country. Among these residents, there is a large proportion of people come to China not for the purpose of studying Chinese the language, but the necessity of working. Compared with other foreigners with the purpose of studying the Chinese language, they adopt a more objective and neutral angel. Thus, the investigation into this group of foreigners is very much meaningful. We hope to know their attitude towards the language, the motivation of learning and the aspects of help that they need. The conclusion may assist our collection of materials needed for the language's international promotion, and the effective use of the native speaking environment in China. The samples of the research are the Korean people who come to China for working and their children who have been studying the language. We first took sample research upon the Korean primary students, middle school students and senior high school students in China, focusing on their language attitude, language motivation and language capability. Then, we took research upon their parents' attitude and how their attitudes influence their children. Finally, we analyze the three factors. The research samples were categorized as International school, Korean school, and Chinese school with three grades of primary school, middle school and senior high school.According to the sample research, the Korean students' language attitude and motivation are positively relevant with their capabilities. Students from three types of schools have differences in language attitude, language motivation and language capabilities. The scores of students from Chinese schools have been the highest, while scores of students from international schools and Korean schools are relatively close. Students from different type of schools show different degrees of relevance in their attitudes, motivation and capability. Students from Chinese schools show no relevance in the three factors, while the students from Korean schools and International schools show complicated degrees of relevance in the three factors. Students from different grades show differences in all of the three factors and the three grades students have different scores. In the comparison of the relevance degree of the three factors, it is discovered that middle-school students show less degree, while there are differences in degree of relevance in the three factors among senior high students and primary school students. And when analyzing the parents' language attitude, it is discovered that parents' cognitive, emotional and the behavior factor show positive relevance with the students' language attitudeTo help foreigners in China to learn Chinese is a kind of meaningful method for the promotion of the language in international sense. Compared with sending volunteers to foreign countries, this sample research is cost efficient and has a better effect. To further help these students to learn Chinese can not only acquire some effective materials for the language learning so that the language can be internationally promoted, but provides opportunities for talents from all parts of the world to understand China and Chinese the language. Thus, it is a piece of good soil for China in its future development.
