Before the official opening of the Silk Road,even before The Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,the central and western regions(Xinjiang)have already communicated with the Central Asia and Siberia.In the tombs of Xinjiang of China,Altai region of Russia and the Republic of Mongolia and other places,there are a large number of Han style silk,bronze mirror,lacquer unearthed.And the phoenix bird design and rolling cloud design on the silk,the shape and pattern of lacquer ear cup,are obviously co-opted the Chu and Han elements,or maybe they are the product from the central plains.Some special patterns such as the “eight-point star design” and the "couple birds design" are found in the northwest and central plains of China.The question that all these phenomena are accidental,or the prove that central plains and the northwest surrounding have communication,is the subject of this paper.The cultural communication between the East and the West is a huge issue related to the ethnic migration and cultural communication among different nationalities.The collision between nationalities produced a variety of art treasures and reflected the superb production skills and rich imagination of the ancient people.These art treasures have very important value to the future study of history.
