Approaches To Information Transfer In Chinese-English Interview Transcripts

This paper is a case study of the Chinese-English translation of an interview transcript which usually have a large amount of unclear information and messages.Translators must have an accurate understanding of these information in original texts and transfer them in an appropriate way so as to ensure a reasonable translation.In this case study,the author summarizes the features of the interview transcript,analyses problems translators usually have when doing this kind of texts and comes up with three solutions to eliminate such problems: using oral language,logical integration and content analysis.
