Study On Artistic Language Of Gorgeous-color Painting On Korean Rice Paper

As one of the ancient part of the Chinese paintings,heavy color painting has played a the prominent role in the development of Chinese painting history.Gorgeous-color painting on Korean rice paper which originated in 1970s and 1980s.And different from the traditional technique of "molding with lines" of the heavy-color painting.Gorgeous-color painting features in a new "boneless" style of "molding with colorful pieces",or so-called "bone-hid"style.It is a kind of development and innovation to the traditional heavy color painting.With the development of science and technology,painting materials become increasing abundant.Gorgeous-color painting on Korean rice paper carry on the bold reform,such as giving priority to water-soluble materials in drawing materials,as well as take the PiXuan paper and Korean rice paper as the main painting carrier.Moreover,gorgeous-color painting on Korean rice paper takes the way of "Coloring on the front of paper and putting the contrasting color at the back" as its main painting technology greatly enriching the forms of dense-color painting.With frequent communication between the East and the West,gorgeous-color painting on Korean rice paper has been influenced by Western painting and Japanese painting,as it improves artistic language and create specific expression on shape,color,constitution,texture,materials as well as space depiction.It is a kind of development and innovation to the traditional Heavy color painting for gorgeous-color painting on Korean rice paper using linesmistily and hiding them in pictures.Combined with the author's graduation creation,this dissertation offers an systematicalanalysis for fine art from the emergence,development of gorgeous-color painting on Korean rice paper to study of artistic expression.In the ear of globalization,development and innovation are important channel to promote traditional Chinese culture.So being adventurous and trying new painting technology as well as continuously perfecting artistic presentation methods are the key to develop current painting art.
