The Application Of Shanxi Xiaoyi Shadow Art In Modern Interior Design Research

In this long history of the Chinese nation the Shadow was born.The Shadow is a comprehensive art of carving,paper cutting,painting,drama in one,with high artistic value and cultural connotation.The Shadow art is widely distributed in china.Among them,Xiaoyi ' s shadow with its unique charm occupies a space in the shadow,and in 2006 was recognized as Chinese intangible cultural heritage.Due to the progress of the times,the change of people's lifestyle and entertainment style,Xiaoyi shadow has lost the platform and opportunities.Shadow play face absence situation.Therefore,to the Xiaoyi shadow of the excellent national culture preservation and heritage,we must think the exploration of the application of the traditional shadow in modern design,let it continue in the modern environment.This paper first introduces the origin and history of the Xiao yi's Shadow play.Then the analysis of the artistic features of the traditional Xiaoyi shadow,mainly from the two aspects of shape feature and cultural connotation,not only see the unique features of Xiaoyi shadow and explore the folk culture connotation.The shape features of Xiaoyi shadow mainly introduces its graphic modeling,carving techniques combining Yin and Yang,vivid color harmony,diverse patterns,unique and exquisite shadow grand scene props.Xiaoyi shadow play art culture contains shadow play reflect the spirit of the fusion of Confucianism,Buddhism,daoism,and shadow play in folk show spirit of witchcraft,education enlightenment function,cultural entertainment function and contains the spirit of romance.Then,we research in Shanxi xiaoyi shadow play art in the application of the modern interior design.The analysis is from two aspects of the application of shape feature and cultural connotation,and with reference to domestic and foreign outstanding design cases.The Xiaoyi shadow shape,color,light,patterns of shape features used in interior design,at the same time,the spirit of the fusion of Confucianism,Buddhism,daoism,folk culture which create with the traditional cultural atmosphere of the interior space.Through this exploration,to arouse the attention and protection of the traditional Xiaoyi shadow art,while the traditional folk art and modern design combine to provide a more favorable platform and fresh blood for its development.At the same time provide new design ideasfor modern interior design,with the spirit of traditional culture and connotation,make the design more affable,to find a sense of belonging for the modern culture.
