An Study On The Mysticism Of Hammershoi's Art Works

During the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th,Vilhelm Hammershoi had a high reputation;however,with the rigid development of modern art,he gradually faded fr om public.With the returning of paintings led by post modernism,his work is again back to public.One can always sense a mysterious atmosphere spreading among his works,the artist's silence,melancholy and an innate quality.This mysterious atmosphere is deeply c onnected with the artist life experience,social environment and his own personality.The a uthor intends to explore his works and life through the innate quality flouring from his wo rks,and most importantly to study how he achieves a unique artistic language by merging his personality perfectly with the spiritual content of its own work.The author studies feat ures of his artistic language according to his life and art experiences,the light,color,them e and forms of its work to further understand the spiritual depth of his work.At the same t ime reflecting on art creation:how to find a personal artistic language in the age of underl ying innovation and personality?The study has a profound meaning both for the authors'own art creating and understandings of art.
