The traditional Chinese elements contain the profound history and culture of the Chinese nation.Their performance in the animated films dates back to the 1940s.In the past century,the Chinese traditional elemental animated film created the "Chinese animation school" in the history of the world animation,and then gradually formed,a vicious circle of creative lack under the impact of American and Japanese animation.In the new media age,Chinese traditional elements animated films have renewed vigor and vitality.With the support of the government,this kind of films is rising rapidly,becoming a choice to express Chinese traditional culture and to condense the spirit of China.However,at the same time,the Chinese traditional elemental animated films in the new media age have changed in terms of content,audience groups,the media and other aspects of the change,showing a new communication effect and problems.This paper first reviews the development of Chinese traditional element animated films,and summarizes the changes in the application of traditional elements in such films in the traditional media age,making a paving and contrast for the historical background of the selection of elements in the new media age.On this basis,the article introduces the implicit theory of semiotics and the "analysis model of the meaning of image performance elements" to analyze the content of case films in the new media era,and expounds the symbolic and symbolic significance of representative elements.Secondly,the article combines interview pretest and questionnaire data to investigate the audience's acceptance and satisfaction of Chinese traditional elements in animated films,and analyzes the effect of such films in the new media age.Through the research on content,audience and communication effects,the article summarizes the issues of Chinese traditional elements in the animated films in the age of new media.And uses the theory of "cultivation analysis" to propose a national leading animation market,and forms the Chinese traditional elemental animated films with high-quality content,and new communication mode of orderly multi-platform.
