LuHong pointed out in the first Wuhan ink and wash biennial of ink attack in 2017 that "urban ink and wash ink has grown in the soil of urbanization in China.As early as the early eighties and early nineties of the last century,some very sensitive artists have begun to explore new ways of ink painting according to the great changes caused by the process of urbanization,which made metropolitan ink and wash come into being.The emergence of urban ink figures is the product of the continuous development of society.Nowadays,the rapid development of urban ink figure painting provides a very broad platform for us to study urban ink figure painting in many aspects.The dissertation elaborates the formal beauty of contemporary Chinese ink painting by means of composition,modeling,pen language and color,which makes it easier for us to understand the present situation of urban ink figure painting and its future development.At the same time,it will also sort out the history of the development of Chinese ink figures so far,become familiar with the development of Chinese ink painting from the traditional Chinese figure to modern ink painting,and then treat and admire the urban ink figures in all aspects.
