The protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage is the focus of the academic and industry.Based on the perspective of culture industry,this paper analyzes the case of the large-scale 3D kunqu element "kunqu opera baby" and the analysis framework of cultural capital theory since Budi,focusing on the cultural capital form of kunqu,modernization under the drive of cultural capital value,and the technology,art and capital linkage behind the transformation of modernity.Through exploring the current innovation and dissemination of Kunqu Opera,it provides reference for the protection and inheritance of opera art.The special feature of this 3D cartoon created by Taiwan cartoonist Linzhengde is that it combines Chinese traditional Kunqu with modern animation art for the first time and presents to the world the modern animation technique with the reputation of"the ancestor of 100 plays" in China.How to present and carry forward Chinese traditional drama with modern techniques has always been the goal of many artists,and this cartoon which integrates the elements of Kunqu has made a beneficial attempt.This paper reviews the current practice of protecting Kunqu,which can be divided into the protection angle of "elitist" and the protection angle of "popular".And through some modern,innovative means to develop Kunqu has positive effects.This paper analyses the necessity of capitalization and industrialization of Kunqu by the trend of popularization.It is hoped that through the examination of the capital operation mode of Kunqu,traditional cultural gems,the general law of its internal operation and outward transformation will be revealed,and a new perspective of analysis will be developed to better understand and promote the development of China's intangible cultural heritage.
